On Saturday, May 17, we will be hosting our second annual Big Bone & Rabbit Hash Backroad Run. We'll start off with a scenic cruise along the Ohio River and stop by the small town of Rabbit Hash before getting to our destination at Big Bone State Park. It'll then be time to fire up the grill and cook some grub. Playgrounds, hiking trails and a herd of bison are just some things available for your entertainment.

The top NASCAR and IRL stars have driven it and now you can drive it too!
Please join us on Saturday, April 19 as we make our first cruise of the 2008 season. We will be heading to Kentucky Speedway in Sparta to partake in their "Drive The Track" sale. For those of you new to the club, during this sale, for each $40 you spend in the Gift Shop you will get a voucher to take laps around the track in your own vehicle. Drives last three laps and are paced by official vehicles.

The NKYFBA is hosting its third annual NASCAR Fantasy League. It doesn't cost anything and we'll be giving prizes away to the leader of the first half of the season, leader of the second half of the season and the big prize to the overall leader of the entire season. It's that time of year again for the 2008 North America International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan!  On Saturday, January 26 we will make a group outing to the show.
Some of the things that are going to be shown are the ZR1 Corvette, Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS, BMW X6, as well as the concepts such as the Mazda Furai, Mitsubishi Concept RA, and Hummer HX. Our trip will also include a visit to "Race World" at GM's Global Headquarters and a stop at Denny's for dinner on our return trip.

This charity was brought to my attention by our Webmaster, blitzkrg. I fully endorse this charity and ask that you take a moment to read through this and click the Read More link at the bottom to view blitzkrg's full message and further details about the charity.
Let's Bring 'Em Home is a small group of volunteers consisting of veterans and airline employees that requests donations that they can apply towards airfare to bring soldiers home for the holidays... so sons can come home to their parents... so mothers can come home to their children... so husbands and wives can come home to their spouses.
The men and women of LBEH use their own personal vacation time to organize the donated funds and book flights for these soldiers to come home for the holidays. To read blitzkrg's message and to find further information about LBEH and make a donation, please click here.
Further, any donations made to the NKYFBA through our homepage link for the month of December will be forwarded on to LBEH in the club's name.
